What’s new on Prompted: hiring, Prompt Vault, easier building & more
Hey everyone! A lot has changed on Prompted over the last three days, so I wanted to put it all in one place. The goal is to make it easier to find something worth building, make it your own, show your work, and connect with people who need your skills.
Hire builders & find work
Builder profiles now have hiring options, portfolio details, and build request tools. You can show that you’re available, receive requests, and share an embeddable builder badge. The
Marketplace brings together open build requests and builders available to hire. Have an idea? Post a request. Want to build for someone? Browse requests and claim one.
Your own Prompt Vault
Prompt Vault is a place for saved prompts and your own reusable snippets, rules, and instructions. Add a snippet, give it a category and optional tool tag, search or filter your collection, and copy what you need. Copy and delete controls have also been cleaned up.
A clearer sidebar & easier discovery
The navigation now puts building and the community up front: Explore, Questions & Help, Challenges & Bounties, Communities, and Builder Ranks. Account tools are grouped together, and Games, Videos, and Arena have been moved out of the primary navigation. Discussion is still reachable from the home feed. Builder-focused communities are easier to find, and Recent Builder Activity highlights new builds, remixes, blueprint forks, and helpful answers.
Go from inspiration to your own version
Builds now have a Copy Prompt & Launch flow so you can copy the instructions, open a building tool, and come back to share your remix. Copied and launched prompts now carry more of the full build context, including prompt steps, description, tools, and links to the design doc, demo, or repository when provided. We’ve also added Stack Blueprint support for system prompts, Cursor rules, MCP configuration, and SQL. That editor and its advanced blueprint controls are still in an owner-only preview while we test them.
More help getting started, less friction sharing
New builders get first-build ideas and a prompt generator to help turn an idea into a starting prompt. First-build onboarding is scoped to people who need it. We’ve also removed difficulty labels and requirements, restored Explore, and made the wording more consistent around “builds.”
Show how your work grows
Build updates can be connected through version history. Profiles also have a Builder Stack & Impact card showing shipped builds, tools used, and clone/remix reach from published work.
Clearer challenge voting
Challenges now show a compact Top 5 builds list, with small image or video previews when available. Click a preview to see the build before deciding who to support. The full entry list is searchable and paginated. Build votes rank the Top 5 preview; creator totals still decide the contest winner. Votes only count from eligible accounts that have posted on Prompted, and the voting controls have been simplified.
Better discovery outside Prompted, too
We’ve improved how posts and questions appear to search engines and AI search crawlers, with fuller page content and a richer sitemap.
Try the new features and let me know what feels useful, what’s confusing, and what you’d like to see next. What are you building?
