A circular step sequencer shows 4 concentric rings (kick, snare, hats, melody) with 16 steps each, and a glowing playhead sweeps around like a radar. Clicking steps toggles notes; the melody ring uses a pentatonic scale so everything always sounds good. Synthesize all sounds with the Web Audio API. Add tempo, swing, scale/key selection, 6 genre presets (lo-fi, house, trap, synthwave, jazzy, ambient), a “Randomize” button, and a “Share” button that encodes the whole pattern into the URL hash so friends open the exact beat.
