Prompt

Build a fully playable, browser-based 3D endless runner game inspired by Minecraft, using React Three Fiber for 3D rendering and Tailwind CSS for UI styling. The game should open with a name-entry screen where the player types their name (max 16 characters, saved to localStorage) before reaching the main menu, which shows a Play button, controls help, and a leaderboard.

Gameplay: The player auto-runs forward along a straight track with 3 lanes. Controls: Arrow Left/Right or A/D to switch lanes, Space/W/Arrow Up to jump (with a small gravity arc). Swipe left/right to change lanes and swipe up or tap to jump on mobile. The world spawns procedurally ahead of the player: cube-shaped obstacles in lanes, TNT blocks that must be avoided, floating emerald gems to collect for points, and decorative trees, flowers and blocky terrain on both sides of a pixel-dirt path with stone edges.

Scoring & death: Score increases with distance traveled and gems collected. Hitting an obstacle kills the player — play a death sound, show a "You died!" panel with the run's score and gems, then save the run to the leaderboard. The leaderboard keeps only each player's best score (top 10, one entry per name) and persists in localStorage.

Visuals: A bright Minecraft-inspired look — voxel-style character and obstacles with procedural pixel textures, warm sunlight with real shadows, a soft sky with blocky white clouds drifting slowly, colorful flowers scattered on grass, and distance haze. Camera follows behind the player with slight lane-follow motion.

Audio: Retro chiptune-style sound effects generated with the Web Audio API (no files): run start, jump, lane switch, gem pickup, and death. Add a mute toggle button in the corner plus the M key, with the choice remembered in localStorage.

UI: Minecraft-inspired panel styling with a pixel font, HUD showing live Score and gem count during play, and responsive layout that works on desktop and phones. Keep everything client-side with no backend.

I haven't changed anything in the game — this is ready-to-use content for sharing it. Want me to tweak the tone (more casual, or for a specific platform like LinkedIn or Reddit)?
